Paul’s Story

Paul Hait won fame early on in the sports world as High School All American record holding Breast Stroke swimmer and as a college student, to become an Olympic Gold Medal winner and World Record Holder in the 1960 Rome Olympics. All this on the heels of a serious 1959 back injury, right leg paralysis, back surgery and a nine month recovery. He had only five months after his recovery to train at the Santa Clara Swim Club (under the great Olympic Coach, George Haines) for the 1960 Olympics. Despite the seriousness of his back surgery and limited time for training, he won the Gold Medal and set a new world’s record in the 100 meter Breast Stroke, after being advised by doctors that he must never swim again. In 1961, he had an all expense paid trip around the world to teach kids how to swim the Breast Stroke in Japan, India and Egypt.

He has been highly sought as a motivational speaker in an international venue. Significant in his life are some of his incredible adventures and successes into the developing field of mind/body healing which he calls TRIGGERED IMMUNE RESPONSE EVENTS. Paul shares his holy message and “Hope Ring” with people worldwide.

Paul’s life may be summed up by a quotation from one of his many motivational writings: “In the end, a man is measured by his ability to give up his own welfare for that of his fellow man and be willing to openly share his ideas and God given insights such that his fellow man can draw strength and value from them and thus live a longer, happier and more rewarding life.”
